Michel Poirier
Michel Poirier is a graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Psychology and Criminology as well as a masters in social work. He spends most of his days working as a registered social worker with families and children of all ages coming from all walks of life.
He has been performing since 1995 in various different art forms. He is a student of sleight of hand, close up magic, stage magic, mentalism, escapology, juggling, unicycle, balloon sculpting, hypnosis, theater, puppetry and more. Using his artistic and professional experience with children, he has been able to create one of the most unique magic shows Ottawa has ever seen.
In 2005, Imagik was born and the world discovered the wacky character of Micpo the Magician. Since then, he has entertained thousands with over 400 shows in his first 4 years. People just love his show, because there is simply none like it.
